  • Training Case Study

Amy designed and facilitated a training for a national sales meeting for 100 field sales people to increase their product knowledge and to learn new skills for selling the product to potential customers.  The outcome was a greater understanding of the features and benefits of the products and an increased confidence in talking with customers about the products which resulted in increased sales.

 

  • Teambuilding Case Study

Amy custom designed a teambuilding retreat for an executive leadership team that was facing the challenge of rapid growth and aggressive financial targets for the year.  Their goal was to look at their strengths and limitations and to develop strategies for working together more effectively.  During the retreat the team assessed the way they were approaching their goals, communicating with each other, sharing information, making decisions, managing conflict, and relating to the leader of the team.  The outcome of the team retreat was a list of goals and action items for working more efficiently and team agreements for working more effectively together. 

 

  • Performance Management Case Study

Amy assisted a home building company in developing and implementing a new performance management system using employee input.  A new performance evaluation form and process was created as a result of employee focus groups.  Additionally, managers and employees were trained on how to use the new system.  The outcome of the new system was that employees knew what was expected of them and they got more support in achieving their goals which resulted in increased employee satisfaction and retention.

 

  • Change Management Case Study

Amy consulted with the loan processing center of a large mortgage company on redesigning their work processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.  The change management strategies that were implemented included involving the employees in the redesign process, communicating regularly with the company employees on the progress of the project and the changes as they were implemented, and a training session on managing change for all employees so they knew what to expect.  The outcome was buy-in from the employees which allowed for a smooth transition to a team environment with increased workflow effectiveness and efficiencies due to the new processes that were implemented.
